Ruth Anne Wylie
She attended grade, Junior High and High School in Urbana and graduated - Class of 1957. After graduation, she accepted employment with the State Universities Retirement System and retired after more than 20 years as Secretary to the Executive Director. She is a 25 year member of the Provena Covenant Medical Center Auxiliary and has served in many areas: as a member of R.S.V.P.; as an Usher with the Krannert Center Senior Volunteers, and has rendered volunteer services with the American Red Cross; a volunteer with the Chanute Aerospace Octave Museum, Districts #4 and 116 of the Public School Systems, as a Lector at St. Mary Roman Catholic Church, to name a few, and most recently with the Early American Museum in Mahomet. |

This Legacy is Yours was a cooperative effort between the National Council of Negro Women, Champaign County Chapter, and the Museum of the Grand Prairie.
