Blanche Jamerson Harris
She was married to Edgar Harris and became Co-Editor of the Illinois Times, a local African-American newspaper which existed for more than 30 years. As a member of Salem Baptist Church, she attended Sunday School, BYPU and Church Services, and worked in many capacities there. Mrs. Harris died November 15, 1997 and her graveside funeral services were conducted by the Women of the Baha'i Faith. |
