Maple Sugar Grove, Homer Lake Forest Preserve, 1 – 3 PM 

Celebrate the solstice with our annual cut and burn stewardship day. Dress for the weather to cut invasive shrubs, and warm your spirits by the bonfire. Tools, work gloves, and hot cocoa provided. Signs will guide you to the parking area once you enter the preserve. All ages welcome. Volunteers under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. FREE.
