Variable spring weather makes predicting the best date to see the Forest Preserves’ unique abundance of spring ephemeral wildflowers change from year to year. Forest Preserve staff will be monitoring the preserves for peak wildflower bloom, and you will be invited to join us for a guided walk through the woods to learn about their ecology and see their fleeting beauty at just the right time.
