Dark Sky Trail, Middle Fork River Forest Preserve, 5:30 – 7:30 PM 

Join the Champaign-Urbana Astronomical Society for an evening with the stars at Middle Fork River Forest Preserve, a certified Dark Sky Park by DarkSky International. Meet at the Activity Center for a presentation, then take a guided walk under the stars along the Dark Sky Trail to find celestial objects with the unassisted eye and through CUAS members' telescopes. This time of year provides an excellent opportunity for families with earlier bedtimes to see the stars! No rain/cloud date. FREE. NO REGISTRATION REQUIRED.
